Habits of Kindness & Gratitude ~ 9Sept16

It’s been a while since I have done a “Habit of Kindness & Gratitude” post and today is as good as any other to write one.

I would like to invite you to try them out as they certainly have a positive impact on my life. And we all can use a little more positivity.

Recall three things you’re grateful for:

~ My soon upcoming holiday. Just another week to work and then a week of freedom. I desperately need it.

~ My blog. I love revisiting the posts from my old blogs and to re-use them or just edit them and leave them. It shows me how far I have come. And I love it that I have all in one place now.

~ Cider. Yes. I can’t help it. I just love cider and we just got another jug of Mr. Wilkins delicious scrumpy. Well, more than three reasons to be grateful :-).

Journal one great experience you had:

That one always gives me some trouble. What counts as a “great experience”? I mainly resume to my mental health. At the moment I manage everything well. I am not troubled by constant negative thoughts or guilty feelings and just can get on with life and my creativity. You have no idea how much a brilliant experience that is!

Exercise:

Still practically non-existent. However, I do walk a lot at work and have to lift heavy trays full of bread so maybe I am excused 😉

Meditate:

This one is a favourite of mine in the last few weeks:

Perform a random act of kindness:

I don’t think I have done anything especially random. I do the cooking that the best husband (Jeremy Clarkson voice) in the world can recover (yes he does most of the cooking. Lucky me 🙂 ) and I tried to explain how to change the blog notifications settings on WordPress to Herheadache. However, I believe that is just normal and not especially random or especially kind. Well, maybe I’ll get a little more creative over the next few weeks :-).
