OK, let’s try to write another post from my phone and hope the WordPress app doesn’t “eat” my post :-).
The weekend is coming up and many are off work and can enjoy time with their families.
My thoughts go out to those who are not that lucky. Those who work in hospitals, at fire services, police stations and services that can’t just stop because its Saturday and Sunday. May they have a quiet weekend and still find some time to spent with their families.
It us a good thing to end a busy week with some kindness and gratitude and therefore I share mine with you:
Three things I am grateful for:
– my up coming holiday. Next week no supermarket and I can’t wait 🙂
– the basics: my family, friends, enough food and water every day, a roof over our heads and peace!
– creativity in all its forms
A random act of kindness:
I worked yesterday evening and spent my break in the canteen where some people couldn’t be bothered to put their rubbish in the bin and/or take their used cutlery etc back. So I did it that the canteen staff had a little less to do this morning
A great experience:
I had a lot of trouble with exhaustion and negative thinking this week. Also I worried a lot how work would be because our department manager is on holiday.
However, I did not try to suppress these feelings and worries but acknowledged them as part if my life and then let them go. I just trysted the universe that everything will be OK and I exchanged negative thoughts with things I am grateful for.
Not an easy exercise I can tell you but it worked and that was a brilliant experience
I am proud to announce I managed to achieve my goal if 30 min if exercise three times this week. Of course, I am active much more because I have to walk and lift a lot at work so I’m probably not as bad as I think with exercising.
I have worked a lot with grounding exercises and binaural tones or meditation music to keep myself in balance.
All in all it was a difficult but successful week and I am very grateful for that.
And now I encourage you to find a few things to he grateful for :-).
Have a lovely evening, morning or afternoon depending on where you are!
