army of gentle hearts ~ a #poem

July 2016

I wrote this poem in April 2011. Unfortunately, I cannot remember what made me write it but what I can see in it now is my fight for mental health. All through my life and my challenges I have always kept up that light at the end of the tunnel: Hope. I do think hope is a very strong motivator to make the best out of a situation.

I often lose sight of it but then it is good to come back to poems like this. May you have a day full of hope and peace:

Army of Gentle Hearts

night
without
neon

falls
over
my
soul

men
without
heart

fall
over
my
sanity

but

I

call upon

the army
of

gentle hearts

Morning pages ~ a break
