Soon I started writing stories

June 2016

I wrote this post in July 2009. The story features in other posts later on, so I just leave it here. There are other posts I have re-worked and edited and scheduled for later posting, but I would like to keep my blog starting in 2009. It was a lifetime ago :-):

July 2009

I had a look at my old poems and was astonished how many
“spiritual” poems I wrote. About a year later after I started writing poetry I wrote my first short story which was my first “non-spiritual” one:

My translation into English:

The Hut

Once I went for a walk. I came to an old, broken hut. I did not notice it and wanted to go on it began to talk: ” I want to be a house. A lovely house in which people could find a wide open door and could come in. A house that would not only be noticed because of its faults. People only see faults, faults, faults….
But when do they see, if a person, an animal, a plant or even a hut suffers?
I want to be a big villa in which people could find a place to let their sorrows go.
But as I am not a bit, lovely Villa no one comes along!
Everybody only sees the holes in my roof and the torn off boards.”
The Hut got silent, and I went on in deep thoughts.

This one is pretty much the only one of my early works that I really like.
